FAQs (Client)

Frequently Asked Questions:

Where do lessons take place?

Lessons will take place at your home. Once you organise a lesson time with your tutor, they will commute to you on a regular basis, for your convenience.

How long are the lessons?

We offer 1-hour lessons, however, if the student is a beginner, we allow them to have 45-minute lessons until they can build up their stamina to have longer lessons.

How do I find a tutor?

We use our specialised software to match you with a tutor who suits your location and instrument needs.

Do you only cater to a certain age group?

Gliss Music School mainly tutors primary school students and high school students, but we welcome students of all ages who are interested in learning a new instrument.

Should I purchase or hire an instrument?

If you are a beginner and want to test out an instrument before fully committing, we would suggest hiring an instrument. If you want to have lessons long-term, you should purchase an instrument.

Where can I get an instrument?

There are a variety of great music stores to assist you in getting an instrument of your choice - see bottom of Home page to view them. Otherwise, you can browse and shop for an instrument online.
